Now, through the Clemson Area Food Exchange, you can order fresh, in season food from local farms and pick it up each week at Baptist Easley Hospital.

Ordering is easy:

  • Farmers update their availability each Friday night.
  • Shop online at the Clemson Area Food Exchange between 9:00pm Friday night and noon Monday.
  • The farmers will prepare your order on Monday and Tuesday.
  • Pick up your order on Tuesday, 4:30-6pm, at Virginia’s Coffee & Gifts at Baptist Easley Hospital.

The annual fee is only $20, but you can try out the service for two no-fee orders before officially becoming a member.

You can pay through a secure online shopping portal with credit or debit card or pay at pickup with cash, check or credit/debit. By purchasing produce and other items from local growers, you are providing stability to your local economy through the support of local businesses. Buying locally also saves resources such as fossil fuels and packaging materials, since expense of transportation and delivery is kept to a minimum.
